L ocated halfway between Dallas and Austin on I- 35, Waco is the most central convention site in the state of
Texas. Conventions held in Waco tend to
have about 10 percent higher attendance
than other locations, simply because it’s so
easy for those attendees from Dallas, Houston or Austin to make the drive, although
Waco Regional Airport is also an option.
Waco offers the 144,000-square-foot
Waco Convention Center for your meetings.
The Hilton Waco is connected by a covered
walkway to the convention center, and
Courtyard by Marriott is just across the
street. Hotel Indigo is a short three blocks
away. Let the Waco Convention & Visitors
Bureau send out your RFP to area hotels via
an automated system.
Attendees will love visiting the world-fa-
mous Magnolia Market, a mere six blocks
from the convention center. The complex
offers home décor in the style of Joanna
Gaines of Fixer Upper fame, a garden store,
a bakery, free lawn games and food trucks.
In addition to Magnolia Market, Waco
offers the Dr Pepper Museum, Texas Ranger
Museum, Cameron Park Zoo, Texas Sports
Hall of Fame and many other attractions.
